About The Daily Fandom [TDF]

The Daily Fandom (TDF)

The Daily Fandom [tdf/TDF] (“we”) is a platform created by fans and intended for fans. Our work is grounded in genuine appreciation for the media, stories, and cultural narratives we engage with. We actively support the field of fan studies and focus on producing content aligned with our interests and areas of enthusiasm. We are not a traditional journalism outlet, a comic review platform, or a mainstream pop culture website; rather, we publish content based on the media and topics we value.

The Daily Fandom is dedicated to exploring fandom through a blend of academic insight and entertainment-focused writing. Our platform has historically operated in a nonprofit-inspired spirit, emphasizing the importance of popular culture, comics, animation, manga, and broader fandom narratives within both higher education and online communities. Our work continues to support and elevate these areas of study and discussion. We maintain a strong commitment to research-supported writing and responsible source use across our content.

In addition, The Daily Fandom provides higher education internships for students worldwide to prepare them for future work in digital writing, media analysis, and academic communication. Our aim is not to compete with other platforms but to contribute positively to the wider community. We recognize and support the efforts of others who share a similar dedication to fandom and cultural scholarship.
