Nightstream 2021

NIGHTSTREAM ’21, October’s Finest Virtual Horror Film Festival, Is Back

This past year, The Daily Fandom attended a horror festival called NIGHTSTREAM. This was one of the coolest experiences we have ever had, especially because we are horror film enthusiasts. A number of great features, short films, and live conversations were shown, and we are delighted to be able to witness them again. Bringing you far and wide, the second edition of the virtual film festival will feature King Car, The Taking, Stanleyville, Allison’s Birthday, and so many more terrifying films.

We will experience NIGHTSTREAM in its entirety between October 7th and October 13th, which combines Boston Underground, Brooklyn Horror, North Bend, and Overlook. The proceeds from the upcoming edition of NIGHTSTREAM will be distributed to the filmmakers and artists involved and used to support the National Alliance To End Homelessness and the Sunrise Movement.

“While we never anticipated a second edition of the festival when we first joined forces, we’re very happy to unveil this eclectic slate of films, talks, and events that you can enjoy safely from home anywhere in the country,”

— says NIGHTSTREAM directors in a joint statement, 2021.

Among the guests attending the live panels will be David Lowery, Akela Cooper, Greg Nicotero, and HORROR NOIRE. Other attendees include Peaches Christ, Don Mancini, and Divide/Conquer. There will be 31 feature films, four short film blocks, and a special presentation of folk-horror films. Furthermore, the remastered retro films are always available as part of NIGHTSTREAM.
